Virtual reality as a tool against anxiety before surgery

Between 60 and 80% of patients experience anxiety before surgery. To lower this pre-surgery anxiety, the Centre Léon Bérard offers patients the possibility of experiencing virtual reality by providing a virtual reality headset and 3 specific software packages.
