Educational mission in cancer research and care

The three main target groups for teaching at the CLB

Future healthcare and research professionals

The CLB welcomes people from inside and outside the medical profession, PhD students and interns, and participates in university education.  CLB staff are involved in various higher education institutions (Institute for training in nursing, training of electroradiology manipulators, medical secretaries, etc.).

Practicing healthcare professionals

Some CLB staff members attain the status of instructor and transfer their knowledge to professionals at other institutes or as private instructors.

This teaching is provided within the following frameworks:

- a training institute (recognized Continuous Professional Development (CPD) organization)

- university teaching (university degree, DU, and inter-university degree, DIU)

- internships for the private nurses who support our patients in their home-based care.
